Use PSAT 8/9 to differentiate on Khan Academy
The College Board PSAT 8/9 is the first test in the SAT suite of assessments and the first opportunity for teachers to use official College Board results to guide student practice and develop personalized study plans on Khan Academy.
Assign relevant content to your students
Student results from the math portion of the PSAT 8/9 will highlight distinct student needs. Teachers can assign highly-relevant skills to students in each score range by using the suggestions listed at the bottom of this article.
To assign a skill, click into a class from your Teacher dashboard and use the Assignments tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
Download and let students search for content independently
Teachers can also download and print these lists for your students to search and practice independently. Download the lists here
How can I motivate students?
Consider setting up a tracking system on your classroom walls or digitally. The system can recognize each student as they complete the assignments listed in their score range. This system allows teachers to visualize whether each student has finished their individual assignments and can provide extra motivation for each student to focus on making personal progress.

- I don't think so. I am going to take it in 2 months and I wish Khan Academy had it.(5 votes)
- Are there any Khan Academy resources for the Reading and Writing PSAT 8/9 (Such as videos based on score ranges)?(21 votes)
- I never took the PSAT, so take my answer with a grain of salt. From what I can tell, PSAT tests much of the same capabilities as the SAT. So, Official SAT Practice on KA will likely help you with PSAT too. That's what the KA article I'll share in the next sentence says too. But there's also a printable PSAT practice exam here, so try and see if it helps: https://www.khanacademy.org/test-prep/sat/full-length-sat-1/paper-sat-tests/a/full-length-psat-nmsqt(1 vote)
